The pleasant town of Wilmslow, with its varied shopping facilities and international menus and also the village of Alderley Edge, which has individual shops, lively bars and restaurants, are both equal distance from The Croft; a half hour stroll or a brisk 15 minute walk – minutes by car or bike.

The NATIONAL TRUSTÂ also has several properties in Cheshire, including Alderley Edge Woodland, Hare Hill Gardens, Quarry Bank Mill and Styal Estate, Tatton Park, Lyme Park, Dunham Massey, and Little Moreton Hall; all are nearby.
There are many other gardens and places of interest to visit within easy reach. Jodrell Bank Telescope and Arboretum, and stately homes in the area include, Gawsworth Hall, Bramhall Hall and Capesthorne Hall, also there are many YELLOW BOOK gardens open in Cheshire
The stunning scenery of the Peak District National Park is easily accessible.
Knutsford; Elizabeth Gaskell’s “Cranford”, is a pretty town 7 miles distance, whilst Manchester city centre with its wealth of culture and commerce is only 30 minutes away. The historical city of Chester also makes an ideal day.
Wilmslow is served directly by the west coast mainline rail link from London to Manchester and Manchester International Airport is within easy reach. Straightforward access to Motorways M6 and M56.
